PolymerWebsite - http://www.polymermusic.com MySpace page - http://myspace.com/polymer Location - Philadelphia, PA If rock needs help saving, Polymer is up to the task. With good rhythms, introspective lyrics, three-(sometimes four) part harmonies and a dual guitar attack, they have all the tools. They emulate modern alt-rock groups and seem very polished, but don't think for a moment that they want to sound like mass-produced corporate rock. Polymer brings high energy to each show, and it is not limited to actual playing. When the song calls for and the stage allows it, all of the members but the drummer move around the stage, sometimes at the risk of contact. The chemistry between them is so good, only sometimes will one just miss being whacked by another's guitar. A couple of their songs have such a strong rhythm they actually will co-ordinate jumping to it. It is not choreographed - it is just the band getting into the music and encouraging the audience to do the same. Polymer spreads from Philadelphia to New York, Baltimore, Washington D.C. and college towns in-between. In the past year, they have released their first album (These Mediums) and gotten a new drummer, Candice Harris (formerly with Dave Devlin and my good friend). They have started recording again, look for a new album later this year. Check out these songs: "These City Lights" and "These Things Take Time" GalleryShow History
