Grape Street - 6/3/05This was the show everyone had been waiting for: Mouth Of Wilson and Polymer performing at Grape Street together. Both crews arrived early and got to see each other's performances. I helped to hype the occasion, but there was already a kinship between the two groups. MOW played first and pretty much sounded like they will on their upcoming album. The audience seemed to sense they were ready to go to the next level just by hearing the vocal arrangements alone. Polymer played later and MOW wife Katie got everyone together to see and cheer for Candice. She really appreciated that. The band was just as powerful as usual and got plenty of audience participation, though not as much as their spring break performance. After they were finished, Katie and I made sure both groups were talking to each other. It would be great if they could play Triumph together sometime. Later, we joined in a too-short MOW dance party. Check out the entire set of photos from this show on my Flickr page!
