The Vote! Music Festival, which both Dave Devlin and Jeff Comer were involved in, gave me an opportunity to check out many other artists. I stuck to the artists playing on South Street and looked them up online. Stang was one I decided to see. They are interesting, mainly from the vibe I got from the songs on their website. They just have the right mix of elements that I like; great rhythm, inspiring lyrics, and emotion; reminding me of some of my favorite songs. I couldn't wait for the clips to completely load; I kept restarting them to listen to every new bit that my slow connection could handle. They were in my head pretty quickly; not many other artists I have even gone to see have done that so fast. Watching them and listening to more of their material confirmed what I had heard. I almost can't wait to see them again. I hope to catch them at World Cafe Live and Grape Street sometime.
