Rich Cox

After meeting Dave Devlin at Triumph, I decided to come back and see some other performances. Rich Cox was the next artist I saw. I was 2 for 2, not a bad start to my concert-going career. Rich also puts real passion into his music and does a great job with other artists' material, especially with R&B and soul classics. His work has been heard in some TV shows and movies, but he is not a rock star by any means. He is humble, and that's also why I am his friend as well as a fan. It doesn't hurt that he plays close to home.

Currently, Rich is mainly playing covers, but will break out originals from time to time. He covers artists such as Tom Petty, Stevie Wonder, Steely Dan, Marvin Gaye, The Clash, Train, and David Bowie - quite a wide range. He will take requests. Come up and see him sometime.
