Triumph Brewing Company - 7/29/06

It was another long-awaited show for me since Blue Sinatra were finally playing at one of my favorite venues. It also signaled the end of an era; it was Dan's last show. His succesor Charlie was there and they got to play together on a few songs. It was great to see since most of the times when someone leaves a band they are just gone and you don't get to wish them luck. The show was late getting started since Mike left the cymbals and connector for their hi-hat stand at their last gig. I helped them by waiting outside for the next band and getting them to loan them the needed parts. I even called some places in case the other band hadn't come early; I talked to Jessica from John and Peter's without even knowing it. The show was pretty good but the venue wasn't feeling it and people only got up and danced during one of the songs. But the band wasn't giving up on the Triumph; they promised that they would be playing there again in the fall.
