Kat Man Du - 7/19/06
Another competion and another chance to see Mouth Of Wilson in Trenton, their home base. It was nice to see almost everyone and test to see if I could handle seeing a show and having to go to work the next day. The groups playing that night were all different, ranging from hard rock to jazz to pop. MOW, of course, fits somewhere in between. Kat Man Du's sound system rivals Grape Street's in pure volume, which made standing in front of the speakers a challenge when the higher-powered groups took the stage. The rules stated that only one could go on but since the talent was so good this night, the second-place group was given a wild card berth. And guess who got it!
