No Denying The Future
Postponed due to the last flood in New Hope, Future 86 finally returned to John and Peter's with some changes but their effect remained. Since they were recently reduced to a trio, their friend Andy came along and played bass while original bassist Larry switched to guitar and played quite well, busting out interesting solos. New covers entered the set, including "American Idiot", "I Love Rock 'N Roll", "One Way Or Another", and "Hungry Like The Wolf". Once again proving that comedy goes well with rock 'n roll, Armand revealed that he learned to play drums, among other things, by reading Drums For Dummies. With their recipe of plenty of audience participation, humor and great tunes, Future 86 was nothing but consistent yet again. The band finally saw their picture mounted alongside other John and Peter's great performers.
