The Red Stallion - 6/16/06

The Pheromones finally returned to the Red Stallion, a favorite haunt, as headliners. It was the first gig for Linzi's brother Adam but that was countered by another Brian medical-related absence. Denison was up first, with their actual drummer this time. More people arrived after they finished their set; that meant one thing, it was time for JAB. They played past midnight, when our headliners were to take the stage, but they let them play a bit longer. JAB have a certain charisma that attracts people and tend to steal whatever show they play. When the Pheromones finally got up, familiar problems occurred; one song got dumped due to a technical problem and there was plenty of interference during the set. Seeing them deal with these problems makes the great shows ever more special. There were two new songs, a cover of Traffic's "Feeling Alright" and one original, "Silk Fuse".
