Finn McCool's - 5/19/06
I was back inside Finn McCool's for their battle of the bands but the Pheromones were pitted against former member Jack's band of brothers, JAB. (There also may have been a conflict of interest because Brian helped organize the event.) There was something in the air that night because the Pheromones had the best show I had seen yet. The look was kicked up a notch too, with Linzi and the guys sporting glitter eye make-up; a nice tip of the hat to glam rockers everywhere. They capped their performance with a new cover, the T. Rex classic "Bang A Gong (Get It On)". I heard later that they won that night, so they will be back for the next round later in June. Editor's note: the final round of the contest was cancelled.
