John and Peter's - 4/28/06

It was time to rock, for Future 86 were back in New Hope. It seemed like old times but it really wasn't the same. We all missed our favorite waitress Jessica who was on vacation(!?). At least the bassist was the same as last time, Ron. He got the mike for a few more covers this time, giving Courtney a break. Speaking of which, the new covers included classics from Billy Squire (not "The Stroke" though) and Lita Ford, as well as Van Halen's rendition of "Pretty Woman". After the show the band, myself, and some of their friends from New York spent the night at Josh's. In the morning we took in some of the Shad Fest just outside his house and had lunch at a restaurant down the road in Stockton. We had to wait forever for the food and the service was not that great. It wasn't a franchise so they deserved some slack but not much. We parted company afterward, with the band heading off to Atlantic City. Not long to wait, in another month, they would be back.

The guys get the chance to jam.
