Club 218 - 4/15/06

The Pheromones were back at Club 218 (and so was I) but two hours before they had to be there Brian had a family emergency. This band has seen a rush of bad luck so this was nothing new; Brian got broken ribs the last time there were there. So, their friend Jack was called upon to play lead guitar on songs he had previously played bass on and others he had never practiced before. The band needed all the support they could get and they got plenty of it. It was a night for female rockers; two of the other artists were the female-fronted Evro and Shannon Cole. Between acts, we heard clips from the previous performances playing on the sound system. We found out that you can obtain a recording of the set after the performance so Pat got a CD. The show wasn't the best but they did get a low-cost recording and some certainly memorable moments out of it.
