The Future Changes

Future 86 were finally back at John and Peter's but with another bassist. I missed Andy, I thought he had fit well with them but he apparently left the group because they played too many covers. It also may have had to do with their new weekly gig hosting and playing back-up for a Karaoke Night at a New Jersey bar. Since it had been six months since they were last there, I expected new covers; they joking started out with "Help!" but also played "Another One Bites The Dust" (great), "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" (which I had though they should do, but it needed some work), and "Vertigo" (overrated). Unfortunately, "Blitzkrieg Bop" fell apart at the end. Afterwards, we went back to Josh's place and I slept over this time. I had to sleep on the floor; I didn't mind it initially but I felt sore in the morning. We later went out but Larry had a huge hangover so he slept in. I could have gone to lunch with them but that's something I can look forward to next time.
