It was a very exciting night because Mouth Of Wilson were finally playing at Triumph (some of the members had performed there as Carbon Sun). Almost all their circle packed in front of the stage. Their part of the night was marked by the introduction of their first official cover, the Led Zepplin classic (and Diddy sampled) "Kashmir ". Devin and Joe filled out the rendition by integrating the trademark string sound into their guitars. Very well done. Later, Strawdogs came up and thrilled the crowd with their covers and originals. They took a break, then came back and played four songs which was sort of annoying. Really, who does that? Most shows I have seen at Triumph have ended by 1:00 but this one went to almost 1:20. Part of the reason may have been that the venue knew the kind of show they were going to get and gave them the extra time. Overall, it was well worth it.
