Walsh's Tavern - 10/28/05

The Piramones

The John Neumann Band once again hosted the Pheromones, this time at Walsh's Tavern in Warminster. There was supposed to be a costume contest there so they came dressed as pirates. The show went the same way as at Big Head's, but when the Pheromones got up, they began with a pirate song and encouraged "arrr"s from the crowd after every song. Some people might have thought that was part of their normal set but that was expected. Prizes were supposed to be awarded at midnight but I guess the tap for that came up dry. A family group also performed, a father and two children, which were really good. During the night, a smoke machine was used a little too much and the performance area was often filled with smoke. After the show, the band and I hung out and did some pirate-themed shots.

Everyone in front for a pirate song.
C'mon, it wasn't THAT bad a show.
